The Sockeye 2025 Playing Kit was a return to classic form. Sometimes we gotta do it. In the last couple years Sockeye has pushed the boundaries of uniform design, but players started to speak up that they wanted to get back to the basics; a strong logo, simple colors, and a retro look.
With a more simple uniform, I wanted to experiment a little with the Extra Gear Designs. I designed all new logos for the garments and went a little extra "one-the-nose" with the actual sockeye salmon across the torso, and 80s style "training" kits for people to wear to the gym.

A motif we constantly revisit on Seattle Sockeye is the river, and how getting through a season can feel like "swimming upstream." This post was made at the end of our season and uses lyrics from the Waterboys song, "This is the Sea."
